Gracious Professionalism
A core philosophy coined by FIRST founder Dr. Woodie Flowers, it means competing fiercely while treating everyone with respect, empathy, and kindness. We pursue excellence while valuing others, respecting every individual and community. Gracious Professionalism makes us both competitors and friends on the field.
Coopertition
A blend of "Cooperation" and "Competition." In FIRST, we believe the strongest competition comes from the strongest cooperation. Even in fierce matches, we share knowledge and help other teams grow without hesitation. Because making the entire community stronger is the real victory.
